"The International Children's Choir, directed by Dr. Kathy Sorensen, is one of Salt Lake City's local musical treasures. During the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, they performed in Light of the World, and in concerts with the Utah Symphony, The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Frederika von Stade, John Williams and the King Singers."

"Not only does the ICC perform the music of many lands, but they perform in many lands. They have been Artists-in-Residence at St. Martin-in-the-Fields and Canterbury Cathedral in England, and have performed at St. Peter's Basilica at the Vatican, with the Czech National Orchestra in Smetana Hall, Prague, and with the St. Petersburg Radio Symphony in Russia. In August 2002, they will perform in Norway for the 25th World Conference in Music Education - the only American children's choir to receive this honor. The ICC made its Carnegie Hall Debut in 1993, and has also recorded numerous selections for Macmillan, Disney, and Universal Pictures, among others."
